The hotel retains a vintage charm with its iconic blue and white neon sign, symbolizing nostalgia and Americana. Guests can enjoy convenience paired with character while exploring Los Angeles from this historic location.

Dining Experience

Swingers Diner, located adjacent to the hotel, is a legendary establishment known for its all-day menu combining classic diner charm with modern sensibilities. Guests can savor meals while potentially spotting celebrities enjoying their favorite diner items.

Highlights

Dining: Swingers Diner, open daily from 8:00 am to 2:00 am

Accommodations: California Kings and Junior Suites available

Location: Minutes from The Grove and Melrose Avenue

Unique Appeal: Restored outdoor pool deck for relaxation and events

“In my opinion, this property offers a slice of vintage Hollywood charm at an accessible price, a comfortable base particularly for those visiting nearby medical facilities or exploring the Fairfax neighborhood. Its proximity to attractions like The Grove and LACMA, coupled with the adjacent Swingers Diner, creates a lively atmosphere; however, the 'motel' feel might not appeal to all. While some areas show their age, the location and unique retro vibe stand out.”
